NC Repo Zone Auction: Anyone have experience?

Recommended Posts

Yeah, I've been to NC Repo Zone a few times. It's legit, not some fly-by-night operation. The auctions can be pretty wild. I've scored some sweet deals there and also gotten totally burned. You gotta be careful, know what you're looking at. Check out ncrepozone.com for the auction schedule.

As a mechanic, I go to a lot of these auctions. At NC Repo Zone, the pre-inspection window is short, so get there early. Bring a flashlight and basic tools. I always check fluids, tires, and look for signs of major damage. Titles can be a mixed bag, but they're usually pretty good about getting them sorted out if there's an issue. Still, if there's a problem with the title, best contact them quickly, their support is available at info@ncrepozone.com

Fees! Watch out for them at NC Repo Zone. Besides the auction price itself, there are often buyer's premiums and sometimes storage fees if you don't pick up the car right away. Read the fine print. Call +1 910-338-3803 and ask. Also, inspect the vehicles carefully.

I bought a car at NC Repo Zone last year. The car seemed okay on first inspection. Biggest problem was title issues! Took nearly 3 months to get the title transferred, which was a pain in the you-know-what. Apparently, sometimes there is a wait. Be aware; it happens

NC Repo Zone is one of the better ones, IMO. I flip cars for a living, and sometimes I snag good deals there. The key is knowing the market and setting your limits. Don't get caught up in the bidding frenzy. I usually flip a car every couple of months. It keeps me busy.

I've been to NC Repo Zone a handful of times. Sometimes the cars are exactly as described… other times, not so much. Buyer beware, folks. The auction staff are generally helpful. You'll see a variety of cars. Worth checking out, just be careful. Good luck!

Financing can be tricky at repo auctions. NC Repo Zone doesn't offer in-house financing, as far as I know. You'll likely need to arrange your own financing beforehand. Banks and credit unions are usually your best bet. It's easy, just be prepared.

Bought a '98 Honda Civic at NC Repo Zone last month. Looked decent from the outside, but the engine was toast. Didn't realize it until I tried to drive it. No recourse, it's sold as-is. Still got me tho, it's part of the game.

I've had a mix of experiences at NC Repo Zone. One time I got a screaming deal on a Ford pickup. Another time I overbid on a minivan that needed a new transmission. You win some, you lose some. That's the nature of the game.

I've dealt with titles from NC Repo Zone multiple times. They're pretty efficient, usually. But, always check the title carefully before you hand over any cash! Make sure there are no liens or other issues. If you have questions, call +1 910-338-3803.

For the budget-conscious, NC Repo Zone can be decent. I once got a good deal on a sedan. Make sure you take into account any repairs that are needed to see if the car is even worth it. They will take care of it when they are done.

I search for specific makes/models at repo auctions. NC Repo Zone isn't bad, but the selection varies. Check their website regularly because you never know what will show up! I wish they'd update the site more frequently to keep up with the latest vehicles; it would make things more informative.

I got burned at NC Repo Zone once. Bought a car that looked fine, but the engine went kaput a week later. No warranty, so I was SOL. Buyer beware, for sure. Make sure to check that engine!

I've been going to NC Repo Zone for years. The key to success is to set a budget and stick to it. Don't get emotional during the bidding. Do your research. I've found some real gems there, but you have to be patient, and you have to be prepared to walk away if the price gets too high.

Once I got an unbelievable deal on a truck at NC Repo Zone. Like, way under market value. It was a total steal. Never hurts to check it out and maybe you will find something you like. Always willing to recommend these repo auctions!

I used to repo cars, so I know where some of these vehicles come from. NC Repo Zone seems ethical, so I would recommend them in most cases. The cars are usually in pretty rough shape, so be prepared. They may need some work.
